Support: E-mail Account Setup - MS Outlook

1. Open Outlook, left click on Tools then left click on Email accounts...


2. Check "Add a new e-mail account and click next...


3. Check the POP3 type of account and click on next...


4. Enter your name and e-mail address. Enter your Incoming mail server which will be mail.yourdomainname.com and then enter your Outgoing mail server setting which should be provided to you by the company your use to connect to the Internet. In most all cases it is best to use your dial-up, DSL, Cable, etc. Internet service provider for your outgoing mail setting. An example of a Comcast outgoing mail server setting is provided in the screen shot below. Now enter your User Name and Password and check the "Remember Password" box. Click next...


5. When finished send yourself an email. Click on the Send/Receive button to make sure the e-mail is sent immediately. Wait 1-2 minutes then click the Send/Receive button again to have Outlook check for the incoming email your sent to your new email address. When it is received, right click on the test email and left click delete to remove it from your Inbox. Congratulations...
