Note: In order for the webmail interface to become active your email account must receive an initial email. If you email account is new, you can have a friend send you one or send yourself a test email so your webmail account will activate.
IMPORTANT: The first time you log into your email account through the web interface you must customize your "Personal Information" settings so your name, email address, proper return email address, etc. appear correctly when you reply and/or send email.
To do this, do the following:
- Go to your webmail interface by going to www.yourdomainname.com/webmail
- Login into your webmail interface with your User name (full email address) and Password.
- Click on the "Folders" link at the top of the page.
- Then click create a folder titled 'spam' in lower case.
- Fill in the optional signature area, etc. if desired.
- Once completed, click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to save your custom settings.
- Finally, I'd send yourself an email from your webmail interface to make sure the email you receive is customized as you would like.
